David Prutton predicts result in West Brom v Plymouth Argyle clash for Sky Sports
David Prutton has predicted that West Brom will get back to winning ways following the October international break, when they face Plymouth Argyle on Saturday 21 September.
The Sky Sports presenter believes that Carlos Corberan’s side will bounce back from their defeat to Birmingham City at St Andrews two weeks ago and have too much for Steven Schumacher’s side, suggesting Albion will come away with a 2-1 win, in his Championship predictions.
Corberan’s side hadn’t lost in their last five matches before they faced John Eustace in his final game in charge of Blues before the international break and the West Brom boss will be hoping his team can rediscover the form that made them so hard to beat throughout September.

Plymouth will be travelling to The Hawthorns in search of their first win in three matches, having tasted defeat in their last two outings against Millwall and Swansea, but the Pilgrims have shown that they can cause an upset already this season, having beaten Norwich 6-2.
Back to it
West Brom began to change their fortunes this season following the September international break, with their impressive run without defeat beginning with a 0-0 draw with Bristol City at Ashton Gate and Corberan will be hoping for similar again this time out.
Albion will be without top scorer John Swift after he picked up an injury in the defeat to Birmingham, with the former Reading midfielder facing six weeks on the sidelines, the Baggies will have to find their goals from elsewhere without their talisman.
No player in Corberan’s squad, other than Swift, has found the net more than twice this season, so the likes of Jed Wallace and Brandon Thomas-Asante are going to have to rediscover some form in front of goal to fire West Brom to a win over Argyle.

Defensively, the Baggies have been excellent in recent weeks, barring the defeat to Blues and should the backline be able to perform as they did in the wins over Preston and Sheffield Wednesday, the likes of Ryan Hardie and Morgan Whittaker may find it hard to add to their impressive goal tallies.
There is little to split the two sides, but given Albion’s impressive recent record and Plymouth’s recent struggles, Corberan will be hoping all three points remain at The Hawthorns. But Plymouth will provide an excellent test as the season gets back underway.
In other West Brom news, Prutton has included Swift in his Championship team of the season so far
