Keith Andrews slams ‘sloppy’ footage of Okay Yokuslu in West Brom win v Ipswich Town
Keith Andrews has slammed Okay Yokuslu for a sloppy moment in possession during the first half of the 2-0 win for West Brom against Ipswich at The Hawthorns.
The former West Brom midfielder hit out at Yokuslu for giving the ball away in a dangerous area and claimed the visitors should have done better with the opportunity.
Yokuslu’s ball was intercepted by Wes Burns who attempted to play the ball through to George Hirst, but Cedric Kirpe came across well to cut out the pass.

Andrews was speaking live on Sky Sports Main Event [25 November, 06:24pm] when he stated: “Sloppy here from Yokuslu, a good press from the side and this is an opportunity. Hirst makes the run to go around but Burns plays it too early, he should commit Kipre really to it.”
A moment in an otherwise impressive display
It was a sloppy pass from Yokuslu and put his side under unnecessary pressure which they could have done without, but Ipswich’s lack of cutting edge on the ball was a clear part of the game and allowed Albion to get away with one here.
The Baggies were dominant in their defensive approach and deadly on the counter, a combination which has so often brought joy to The Hawthorns under Corberan, and something which they showed in abundance one more.

It could have been even more than just two goals for West Brom as they created plenty of chances, but they will certainly take that scoreline against a side challenging towards the top of the table in their own bid for promotion come the end of the season.
Once again The Hawthorns proved a happy place for the Baggies as they showed an assured and calm performance throughout, despite the one error from Yokuslu, and will look to push on from this.
In other West Brom news, fans will be stunned by what a loanee did today.
