West Brom confirmed XI v Ipswich Town: John Swift decision made
Carlos Corberan has named his West Brom XI to take on high-flying Ipswich Town in the Championship at the Hawthorns on Saturday, 25 November.
The Baggies took to Twitter to make the announcement of the lineup.
Corberan has decided to keep John Swift on the bench who’s been given the green signal by the medical staff to play but Nathaniel Chalobah is out with a training injury.
Via Twitter, Express and Star journalist Lewis Cox wrote, “Alex Mowatt starts for #wba. Nathaniel Chalobah out and not involved. Understand he picked up an injury in training.”
Win this
The Baggies are taking on Ipswich in a crucial match to maintain their position in the top six and the stakes are incredibly high.
Currently sitting in sixth place with 26 points, the competition for promotion spots in the league is intense and every point matters.
Securing a victory against Ipswich, who currently hold second place, not only bolsters West Brom’s point tally but also sends a powerful message to their competitors.

It is a chance for the Baggies to assert themselves as serious contenders for promotion under the management of Carlos Corberan.
A win would not only solidify their position in the top six but also create momentum and confidence within the squad.
Hopefully, the home crowd can do its bit and get behind the team from the start as that will give them a huge boost and it’s evident that the players desperately need it.
