Sky Sports presenter David Prutton predicts outcome of Cardiff City v West Brom clash
Sky Sports presenter David Prutton has predicted West Brom will not emerge victorious when they travel to Cardiff City in the Championship on Tuesday.
The Baggies out in a fine performance to defeat Ipswich Town 2-0 on Saturday, making it four wins from five with a solitary 2-1 defeat to Southampton the only blot in an excellent run.
However, when penning his Championship predictions for Sky Sports (27 November) for the midweek fixtures this week, Prutton opined that the Baggies will draw 2-2 at Cardiff, who are two places below Carlos Corberan’s side in seventh in the Championship table.

Tricky test
Not much was expected of Cardiff City before a ball was kicked in the Championship this season but Erol Bulut’s men are challenging for the play-off spots as it stands, sitting seventh and just a point adrift of sixth.
West Brom have been in excellent form, that Saints defeat aside, and the clinical nature of their victory over second-place Ipswich last time out has energised the mood at The Hawthorns even more.
The Baggies will, obviously, be keen to keep the good times coming and victory in a tough away fixture would certainly help to do that.

Cardiff sit in eighth in the Championship “home” table, winning five of their eight home fixtures, drawing one, and losing two, so the Cardiff City Stadium represents and undoubtedly tough place to visit this season.
But there is no reason why Corberan and his team should not be approaching this one with confidence.
