West Brom midfielder Okay Yokuslu reveals Hawthorn exit talks
West Brom midfielder Okay Yokuslu has revealed his dream in his footballing career and has had talks about leaving Hawthorns.
While the Turkey international issued his commitment to the Baggies, he does have aspirations of playing in the Premier League again.
He’s also remained coy on returning to play domestic football in his country.

NTV Sport quoted him as saying, “There was nothing official, but there were some talks. I have a contract here now and my dream of making it to the Premier League continues. I have two years left on my contract and I want to achieve this within that time frame.
“If you ask if there is Super Lig football in my career plan, I haven’t made such a long-term plan at the moment, but my immediate goal is to get to the Premier League. We will see what will happen after that.”
Keep him
Yokuslu’s comments suggest a strong desire to move to the Premier League while acknowledging ongoing talks.
While he affirms his current contractual obligations with West Brom, his emphasis on the dream of playing in the top flight indicates a potential willingness to explore opportunities if they arise.
Despite the Baggies’ status as a Championship team, retaining the Turkey midfielder’s services is crucial for several reasons.

His experience and quality in midfield make him a valuable asset, contributing to the team’s competitiveness and ambitions to secure promotion back to the Premier League.
Yokuslu’s skill set, including his defensive capabilities and distribution, can significantly impact their performance in the Championship.
Moreover, having a player with Premier League experience can be instrumental in guiding and inspiring younger talents within the squad.
He’s made 18 league appearances this season and Carlos Corberan will surely be pleased with his performances.
In other West Brom news, Guochuan Lai appears to be very close to an exit from the Hawthorns amid a recent development involving a takeover specialist.
