Tony Brown blasts ‘Sloppy’ West Brom after what he saw v Leicester City live on air
Legendary forward Tony Brown blasted the West Brom team for what they did during their 2-1 loss against Leicester at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.
The Baggies were beaten thanks to a late Kieran Dewsbury-Hall header, but the Foxes had a first-half goal disallowed for offside before that in a game where the home side didn’t perform as well as they have been recently.
And after the goal was disallowed Brown, speaking on BBC Radio West Midlands (2 December, 12:45) demanded the team were better in those situations after they gave the ball away which ended up with it in the back of their own net.

“It was sloppy from West Bromwich Albion to give away the ball,” he said.
“As soon as one side has it, a player comes and closes down.
“You have got to be that bit quicker with your thinking and movement.”
Not at our best
Leicester City have been the runaway leaders in the Championship this season for a reason, and it’s because they don’t make silly mistakes.
Their form recently saw them come into the game with just one win in their last four, but they knew they were in for a tough game here and were sharp and accurate throughout the 90 minutes.

But while the home team struggled to really get going and while we had some chances of our own, it was Leicester who had the majority of the play and we never really looked like we were going to notch up any prolonged period of dominance.
These games happen, and we were the underdogs going into it for a reason especially with all of our injury problems.
If West Brom can start to cut those “sloppy” errors out of our game then these defeats can turn into draws or even wins against the teams in and around us and our push for promotion starts to get even stronger.
