Alex Mowatt now undroppable at West Brom after being left out in cold, he shone v Leicester City
West Brom suffered a devastating defeat to Championship leaders Leicester City at The Hawthorns on Saturday (2 December).
Albion substitute Josh Maja thought he had secured a point for his side right at the death after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall had netted for the visitors.
But former Tottenham man Harry Winks had other ideas, bagging a winner in the dying seconds to secure a 2-1 win for the Foxes.

It was a valiant effort from the Albion, with midfield ace Alex Mowatt once again proving his worth to Corberan. It has been a remarkable career turnaround from the 28-year-old, who is now undroppable for the Baggies.
That certainly wasn’t the case not too long ago, with Mowatt having been shipped out to Middlesbrough on loan for the 2022/23 season.
At the Riverside, the midfielder made 31 appearances in all competitions, but he is now back at The Hawthorns, and it looks like he is really enjoying his football.

Despite the defeat to Leicester, Mowatt impressed on the ball with a 90% passing accuracy, with one of his passes being key [Sofascore].
Moreover, the Albion ace won five of his seven ground duels, completed his only dribble attempt, and made one interception and one tackle.
He will be keen to continue to impress under Corberan as the months go on in the search for promotion to the Premier League, with a tricky trip to Sunderland up next for the Albion, with that clash scheduled for Saturday (9 December) at the Stadium of Light.
In other West Brom news, Tony Brown noted something in the clash against the Foxes that will have angered Corberan.
