West Brom want to sign Liverpool starlet Conor Bradley in January loan deal

West Brom want to sign Liverpool defensive sensation Conor Bradley on loan in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

Writing on their website (15 December), the news outlet report that the Reds are ready to loan out the 20-year-old right-back after impressing Jurgen Klopp so far this season in training and with the Under-21’s.

And the player could now be allowed to move in the winter window for more regular football with a host of teams showing interest including Premier League outfit Burnley and Championship clubs Leeds and Middlesbrough.

“TEAMtalk has been informed Liverpool are ready to loan out defensive prospect Conor Bradley in January and are fielding enquiries from a host of clubs,” they wrote.

“TEAMtalk has been told that up to a dozen clubs have made contact with the Reds as Bradley would be a player in real demand if they allowed him to leave.

“Among those interested are Burnley, Leeds, Middlesbrough and West Brom.”

Talent

West Brom have somehow dealt with a stunning amount of injury problems this season but adding depth simply has to be top of the pile of priorities in January.

With a takeover looming there may or may not be funds to spend to sign players permanently, so exploring the loan market for young players could be the way forward.

We already know how good Carlos Corberan is at maximising the qualities of the players he has, and we have seen excellent development and progress with a host of players since his arrival.

That could easily tempt Liverpool to send Bradley to The Hawthorns knowing that he will get regular minutes competing with Darnell Furlong, while also working under a brilliant coach.

It won’t be an easy deal to do, but the club will know they need to act in January to maintain the promotion charge so fingers crossed this is a deal they can get done.
