West Brom ace Josh Maja posts update after what happened on Thursday
Josh Maja vowed to come back stronger and thanked West Brom fans for their support after undergoing surgery on Thursday.
The striker is set to miss around four months of action after sustaining an ankle ligament injury in the 2-1 defeat against Sunderland on December 9.
Maja will now focus on his rehabilitation and took to Instagram on Thursday (21 December) to update supporters.

“Grateful to God for the successful surgery,” he wrote.
“Focus is now on recovery and coming back stronger. A big thank you to everyone who sent messages of support, it means a lot.”

Speedy recovery
It has been a disruptive start for Maja at The Hawthorns since his arrival in the summer, with injuries stagnating his progress under boss Carlos Corberan this season.
He was starting to show glimpses of his talent prior to the injury against Sunderland, which occurred as a result of a crude challenge from Black Cats defender Dan Ballard.
The Baggies have plenty of injury issues to contend with, with Daryl Dike still on the sidelines after a long-term injury, while Jed Wallace and John Swift have had problems too.
As far as Maja is concerned, it looks like he will not be back until at least April so there is still a chance he can play a part this season, albeit he will need time to work on his fitness too.
But if all goes to plan, then who knows perhaps Maja can play a part in what will hopefully be an end-of-season push for promotion to the Premier League.
In other West Brom news, news on a takeover of the club should be imminent based on the latest update.
