Carlos Corberan makes Andi Weimann call, Tom Fellows missing – Confirmed West Brom XI v Norwich City

Carlos Corberan has made one change to his West Brom starting XI for the Baggies’ Championship clash with Norwich City on Saturday 20 January.

The Albion boss has decided to not tinker with the squad that beat Blackburn Rovers too much, with his only change being the reintroduction of Jed Wallace back into the starting XI in place of Tom Fellows who drops out of the squad entirely.

New signing Andi Weimann can only make a place on the bench and will have to make his debut from the Baggies bench if he is to be introduced at Carrow Road.

Tough test

You only have to go back to Boxing Day for when these sides last went head-to-head in the Championship with the Baggies running out 1-0 victors at The Hawthorns on that occasion with Brandon Thomas-Asante scoring the winner.

But that will count for little today, as Carlos Corberan will be well aware, as West Brom look to build on back-to-back 4-1 victories – albeit the first of those was against Aldershot Town in the FA Cup.

This fixture, of course, precedes the Black Country derby next week and what a boost it would be for West Brom if they can carry on their momentum heading into that absolute blockbuster of a cup tie.

There will be no looking too far ahead from Corberan and his side, though, with Norwich a very tricky away trip as the Baggies attempt to keep cementing their place in the playoff spots.

A win here today would go a long way to doing just that.
