Lewis Cox shares what Norwich City fans did to Daryl Dike as West Brom suffer 2-0 defeat
Lewis Cox shared that the Norwich City fans gave West Brom striker Daryl Dike some stick during the second half of their Championship clash on Saturday (20 January).
The Express & Star journalist shared on his personal Twitter account (20 January) who was in attendance at Carrow Road, claims that the the Norwich fans were throwing some stick Dike’s way as he trained with a member of the West Brom backroom staff.
Dike came on in the second-half for Brandon Thomas-Asante as West Brom suffered a damaging 2-0 defeat to Norwich as their playoff hopes took a massive dent with their third successive away defeat in the Championshiop.
And Cox posted: “Dike getting some stick from the home fans as he warms up with a member of Albion’s backroom staff.”
Price of being away
Dike certainly wasted no time in reminding West Brom supporters exactly what he is all about when he scored his first goal after his injury return against Aldershot Town earlier this month.
However, since then, things have gone quiet for the American with Corberan being cautious over his workload having just returned from a long injury lay off.
Dike was introduced in the second half to provide some inspiration for the Baggies when they desperately needed it but to no avail as Corberan’s men suffered another damaging away defeat.
And Dike’s afternoon certainly didn’t get off to a promising start when he was given stick by the Norwich City faithful but that’s the price of being an away side in a crucial Championship fixture.

The American certainly won’t be allowing that or the result to derail his confidence or form right now as the Baggies face a crucial few weeks ahead after this disappointing defeat.
