Jamie Carragher predicts result of West Brom v Wolves FA Cup clash
Jamie Carragher has made his prediction for the FA Cup fourth-round clash between West Brom and Wolves at The Hawthorns on Sunday morning.
The Baggies will host their rivals in a derby clash in the country’s oldest competition, with a place in the fifth-round hanging in the balance after third-round victories over Aldershot and Brentford respectively.
And while making his picks for Sky Super 6 (24 January), pundit Carragher has backed the Premier League club to come away with a 2-1 win despite the good form of Carlos Corberan’s side.
Duh
Obviously Carragher is backing the Premier League side to get the win, because nobody seems to be paying much attention to what West Brom are doing this season.
Corberan has taken the team into the playoffs and contention for returning to the Premier League next season despite the ridiculous ownership situation and the fact the club have no money to spend on new players.
The job he has done is absolutely sensational, but there’s no doubting that West Brom go into the game as underdogs despite being at home.

Wolves have got plenty of quality in their side but Gary O’Neil may well rest players considering there is a full Premier League schedule in midweek too, which would only boost the chances of Corberan’s side.
The fans will be up for it early on Sunday and with a rocking atmosphere and good form, there is every chance this team can prove Carragher wrong and get a memorable win.
