West Brom: Erik Pieters sends four-word message as Hawthorns exit confirmed

Erik Pieters has sent a four-word message on social media after Caleb Taylor has joined Bolton Wanderers on loan from West Brom.

The Baggies confirmed on their website on Thursday (1 February) that the 21-year-old has made the switch to the League One side until the end of the season.

The English centre-back posted on Instagram a photo of himself in a Trotters shirton Thursday, with left-back Pieters responding by saying “All the best partner”.

Game time at Bolton for Caleb Taylor

It’s a good move for Taylor as he should be able to earn some regular game time at Bolton after he has seen his opportunities limited at West Brom.

The defender is a fairly highly-rated talent at the Hawthorns and he’s clearly a fairly popular player amongst the rest of the squad after several of them have wished him luck.

After having a successful loan spell with Cheltenham Town last season in the third tier, he would have been hoping to be more involved this year, having made just six appearances.

The move to the second-place Trotters will give him some decent experience at a team that’s currently flying in League One as they look to gain promotion this season.

Carlos Corberan will no doubt be keeping a keen eye on his progress as he’ll be weighing up whether he could play a role in his side ahead of the next campaign.
