Neil Moxley has blasted the Wolves fan who celebrated in the West Brom end following the crowd trouble during the FA Cup clash between the two sides on 28 January.

Writing on page 59 of the Sunday People's print edition on 4 February, the journalist said the Wanderers supporter was a "moron" after thinking it was a good idea to react to his side's second goal in their 2-0 win at The Hawthorns.

He added that crowd segregation isn't anything new and that there is a reason why those precautions are in place across the country.

Not a good look for West Brom or Wolves

It was a ridiculous decision by the Wolves fan to celebrate the goal in the West Brom end as it was only ever going to lead to trouble.

The scenes that followed were an absolute disgrace and can't be condoned, but it was all started by one mindless individual that couldn't control his emotions.

While people don't like to see it, there will be opposition fans at these kinds of games in the wrong end all over the country because there is such high demand for tickets.

But if you make that decision to sit amongst rival fans, then you need to be respectful and just sit and watch the game, no matter what happens across the 90 minutes.

The trouble completely ruined the occasion after the scenes were widely condemned by several stakeholders and onlookers that just wanted to see a good game of football between two fierce rivals.
