West Brom to finalise Yann M’Vila deal within hours as update emerges from France
West Brom are set to finalise the signing of Yann M’Vila within hours as Carls Corberan makes an extra addition to his squad, according to BUT Football Club.
The French outlet reported on its website on Friday (9 February) that the 33-year-old who has been without a club since leaving Olympiacos in the summer, is set to join up with the Baggies on a free transfer until the end of the season.
M’Vila is in advanced contact with Albion and he appears set to commit to a deal in the next few hours, meaning West Brom should be able to finalise his transfer sooner rather than later.

Corberan said before the transfer window even opened that he wanted to make additions to his squad and the season-ending injury suffered by Jayson Molumby was always likely to see West Brom target a new midfielder.
M’Vila is unlikely to arrive and start week in and week out, especially considering the fact he hasn’t played a game of professional football in the last few months, but he provides some much-needed depth, which will be a huge boost to the Baggies.
When fit, Okay Yokuslu and Alex Mowatt will more than likely start, but the 33-year-old will be able to slot in alongside Nathaniel Chalobah on the bench and be able to be called upon in the event of injury, suspension or even in the final stages of games.
Corberan likes to sign players that he has worked with before, as shown with the loan deal for Pipa in the summer and M’Vila is somebody he has spoken highly of previously. Hopefully, he can boost Albion’s chances of finishing in the playoff places this season.
