Scott Sinclair sends message to Celtic loan ace Mikey Johnston after what happened at West Brom
West Brom star Mikey Johnston has been sent a message from Bristol Rovers ace Scott Sinclair after his goal against Cardiff City.
The former is currently on loan at The Hawthorns from Celtic, a club where Sinclair spent four years at, with the player having also played for the Baggies.
Recent Albion recruit Johnston netted after less than a minute against the Bluebirds in the 2-0 home win on Tuesday (13 February).
The winger took to social media to celebrate the goal and win, with Johnston posting on Instagram: “+3, another big one Friday,” with Sinclair among the people commenting.
West Brom ace hits the ground running
Not all of West Brom’s transfers have worked out over the years, but it seems like the recruitment policy now in place at The Hawthorns is very strong.
Johnston has only just arrived in the Midlands following his temporary switch from Scottish giants Celtic, but he has immediately hit the ground running, scoring very quickly into his full Albion debut.
Beloved West Brom manager Carlos Corberan made a point in strengthening his attacking options in the recent transfer window, with Johnston joined at the club by Andi Weimann and Callum Marshall.
Like the Celtic loanee, the former has taken very quickly to his new surroundings after his move from Bristol City, having also netted against Cardiff.
The latter meanwhile has not exactly been given many chances to impress yet following his loan switch from West Ham.

But given the busy fixture list and indeed the devastating injury blow to fellow striker Daryl Dike, the opportunities should arrive in the near future. A home clash with Southampton is up next on Friday (16 February).
In other West Brom news, Dike’s sister has sent a message after an injury announcement at The Hawthorns.
