West Brom confirmed XI v Plymouth Argyle: Brandon Thomas-Asante, Okay Yokuslu calls made
West Brom boss Carlos Corberan has named his starting line-up for Tuesday’s (20 February) Championship clash with Plymouth Argyle.
The Baggies are looking to return to winning ways following a 2-0 home loss to Southampton last Friday (16 February).
Corberan has made three changes from that contest, as confirmed by the club’s official Twitter page [20 February].
The big news is that regular starter Brandon Thomas-Asante, who was taken off at half-time against Southampton, is not included in the matchday squad.
Okay Yokuslu and Mikey Johnstone also drop out of the starting XI, albeit they are both named among the substitutes.
Andi Weimann, Tom Fellows and Nathaniel Chalobah are all recalled to the starting line-up for the showdown at Home Park.
New signing Yann M’Vila was never in line to make his West Brom debut against Plymouth.
Brandon Thomas-Asante not in West Brom squad
Thomas-Asante has gone six games without a goal, so perhaps trying something different against Plymouth will turn out for the best.
Fellows has showed what he is capable of this season and Weimann has also proved to be an astute loan signing with some key moments in the final third.
Chalobah will help freshen up the engine room alongside Alex Mowatt, in what is a strong-looking Albion XI on the South Coast.
Semi Ajayi and Grady Diangana are made to wait for their returns to the side on the back of representing their nations at AFCON.

Results have not been great of late and it is important the Baggies start getting wins on the board on their travels.
After spending so long in fifth place, they risk falling out of the play-offs entirely if midweek results do not go there way.
That makes this Plymouth clash particularly pivotal, but there is no reason why this XI – and indeed the subs that are called upon – cannot get the job done.
