West Brom: Mikey Johnston stuns BBC pundit after what Celtic loan star did, ‘unbelievable’
Tony Brown was blown away by Mikey Johnston’s “unbelievable” goal for West Brom in their 3-0 win over Plymouth on Tuesday night.
Johnston, who joined the Albion on loan from Celtic in the winter transfer window, netted his second goal for the Black Country club after coming on as a substitute at Home Park.
The 24-year-old Ireland attacker cut in from the left-hand side before blasting past former Celtic teammate Conor Hazard in goal.
Speaking on BBC Radio WM after the goal on Tuesday night (20 February, 09:19pm), Hawthorns legend Brown said: “What a corker – what a brilliant strike.
“He’s done everything right, he’s got it on the left-hand side, he’s come into the box, he’s got it on his right foot and he’s released an unstoppable strike straight in the top corner. No chance for the Plymouth goalkeeper.”

Albion had their backs up the wall in January.
With no money to spend and the threat of possibly having to sell players, Carlos Corberan had to pull a rabbit out of a hat in order to improve the squad.
Andi Weimann has grabbed a couple of big goals since his arrival on loan from Bristol City and now, so has Johnston.
After scoring in the 2-0 win over Cardiff, Johnston has also sealed a huge three points away at Plymouth to help keep West Brom in fifth place in the Championship with their game in hand.
And what a goal it was.
Alex Mowatt’s pass to him was superb from the midfield and then Johnston did all the rest, beating two Plymouth defenders before powering the ball home past Hazard in the home side’s goal.
Corberan deserves huge credit for bringing in actual game-changers in the January window. It’s exactly what Albion needed.
