West Brom predicted XI v Hull: Mikey Johnston, Nathaniel Chalobah decisions made
West Brom will be looking to continue their momentum from the Plymouth win when they take on Hull City on Saturday, 24 February.
The Baggies travel to the MKM Stadium and Carlos Corberan may not want to tinker too much with the side that did well on the road to win 3-0 on Tuesday night.
However, John Swift was withdrawn with an injury and there’s a chance he may not be fit in time for the game on the weekend.
Nathaniel Chalobah to be dropped by West Brom
Despite a convincing away win, there was plenty about Chalobah that suggested Corberan may look to drop him over the weekend.
He attempted four duels, per Sofascore, against Plymouth with two aerial ones and as many on the ground.
To Corberan’s annoyance, he lost all four of them (100% failure) and that’s not particularly what one needs from a midfielder.
Okay Yokuslu came on for him in the 65th minute, won his only attempted aerial duel and offered much more stability in midfield.
Mikey Johnston to start?
Johnston came off the bench and impacted proceedings against Plymouth so there’s a good chance he is named in the eleven.
With Swift doubtful, even if he’s fit, he’ll probably be on the bench and that could mean a start for the 24-year-old who’s already scored two goals for the Baggies.

It is fifth v sixth so the stakes are undoubtedly high and hopefully, Corberan’s side can get the win.
