West Brom star Grady Diangana must be axed by Carlos Corberan after 27% flop v Hull City
West Brom fought very hard to earn a point against Hull City at the MKM Stadium, with the two clubs playing out the stalemate on Saturday (24 February).
The hosts went ahead through a stunner from Fabio Carvalho, with Baggies ace Darnell Furlong netting an equaliser.
Both goals were scored in the first half, with neither club able to find a winner in the second 45 minutes in Hull.
Travelling manager Carlos Corberan certainly tried his best to secure the win after going 1-0 down, with the boss turning to his bench throughout the second half.
Among those withdrawn by Corberan was attacker Grady Diangana, with that decision very unsurprising given his struggles in the final third.
As per Sofascore, the winger won just three of his 11 duels (27%), with three out of nine ground duels won and zero out of two aerial duels won.
Furthermore, the Baggies man lost possession of the ball 12 times, committed two fouls and attempted just 12 passes, of which only eight were accurate.
It was a disappointing display from Diangana, although he has had injury issues of late, which may be the reason behind his struggles at the MKM Stadium.
Will Carlos Corberan axe Grady Diangana at West Brom?
Even so, Corberan must now take the decision to axe the attacker for the upcoming clash with Coventry, with several forwards waiting in the wings to take his starting role.

The Hawthorns will play host to that Championship encounter next Friday (1 March), in another important game in the race to get back into the Premier League.
