Erik Pieters axed, Kyle Bartley starts – Predicted West Brom XI v Queens Park Rangers
Carlos Corberan could be set to make changes to his West Brom starting lineup for their Championship clash with QPR on Wednesday night.
The Baggies claimed a 2-1 win over Coventry on Friday night (1 March) to cement their position in the playoff spots, where they sit four points clear of seventh-placed Norwich City.
But they now travel to London to face a QPR side battling relegation, but in good spirits having just beaten table-topping Leicester City. Corberan will be expecting a difficult game and could look to freshen things up with his team for the outing.
Kyle Bartley to start for West Brom?
Alex Palmer has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the division this season and will continue to start in goal, with a strong defence ahead of him.
Darnell Furlong and Connor Townsend have impressed at full-back all season and will continue barring any injury issues, but the centre of defence could see a change.
Cedric Kipre has been exceptional this season and completely turned his future at the club on it’s head, while Erik Pieters has been in good form recently. But the Dutch defender is 35 and played a lot recently, so the quick turnaround could open the door for Kyle Bartley to come back into the side.

In midfield the options remain limited for the boss, and while Yann M’Vila could find himself in the match-day squad for the first time it’s likely that Okay Yokuslu and Alex Mowatt will continue their partnership.
Mikey Johnston to keep his fine West Brom form going?
In the attacking third of the pitch despite injuries to Matty Phillips, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Daryl Dike and Josh Maja, the boss still has options.

In-form loanee Johnston has scored three goals in his last five games for the club and should continue on the wing, while youngster Tom Fellows continues to impress with each game.
With no senior striker available Jed Wallace is likely to continue up front ahead of young loanee Callum Marshall, with the available again Grady Diangana playing as the number ten once more.
