Troy Deeney predicts West Brom scoreline v QPR as ‘perfect’ verdict shared

Troy Deeney has predicted that West Brom will win 2-0 away at QPR on Wednesday night.

The Baggies head down to London on 6 March as they look to keep their push for promotion in the Championship going.

Carlos Corberan’s side are currently sat in fifth position in the table and beat Coventry City 2-1 at home last time out.

Deeney has said on his TikTok channel (5 March): “QPR thrown up a massive result against Leicester the other day. They are fighting for their lives. Sinclair up front is a handful, man. He’s a real handful. I think they’ll struggle to keep him next year. The Baggies are flying, I’m going to go 2-0 to the Baggies, perfect away day.”

QPR will be tough opponents for West Brom and they are desperate for more points as they fight for their lives near the bottom of the table.

The Hoops are sat in 20th place in the table with 11 games left to play of the campaign and they are only above the bottom four on goal difference.

Marti Cifuentes’ men have been in decent form recently and head into their match against the Baggies in a confident mood having won their last three games on the spin against Bristol City, Rotherham United and Leicester City.

They stunned everyone beating the latter at the King Power Stadium last time out after goals by Ilias Chair and Sinclair Armstrong.

West Brom boss Carlos Corberan

West Brom are in good spirits themselves though and will fancy their chances of getting a positive result against the R’s to keep their momentum going. They have lost only once in their last seven outings and that was to Southampton.

In other West Brom news, Corberan has raved about what a Baggies chief has done behind the scenes.
