West Brom confirmed XI v QPR: Carlos Corberan makes Yann M’Vila call in one change

West Brom boss Carlos Corberan has made one change to his starting XI to face QPR on Wednesday (6 March).

As confirmed on the club’s official X account, the Spaniard has decided to bring in Adam Reach for the injured Conor Townsend at left-back following the Baggies 2-1 win at home to Coventry City last time out.

Reach, 31, has made only nine appearances for the Midlands outfit so far this season having spent a big chunk on the sidelines but has been trusted with a place in the team against the Rs.

Kyle Bartley is not even among the substitutes but Yann M’Vila – signed on a free transfer last month – has also been named on the bench and could make his debut.

Who is starting for West Brom against QPR?

It is the same again for West Brom apart from Townsend’s swap for Reach.

M’Vila, who has recently been snapped up on a free transfer, could come on for his first outing if Corberan decides he is ready.

West Brom head into the game on the back of their 2-1 win at home to Coventry City last time out. The Baggies are fifth in the table and are in the play-offs along with Leeds United, Southampton and Hull City.

As for QPR, they are fighting for their lives near the bottom but have won their last three games on the spin against Bristol City, Rotherham United and Leicester City so will be in confident mood. Marti Cifuentes’ side are outside of the bottom three on goal difference.

Three points for the Baggies would boost their promotion hopes and would put a bit of space between them and the teams outside the top six.

In other West Brom news, Troy Deeney has made a prediction ahead of the game.
