West Brom: Callum Marshall’s dad likes series of tweets blasting West Ham United loan deal
West Brom loanee Callum Marshall’s move to The Hawthorns from West Ham has been blasted by his father.
The youngster moved from the Premier League club to the Championship side until the end of the season in January.
But the 19-year-old has barely featured under Carlos Corberan, with Marshall making just three appearances so far.
His father has now taken to social media site X to blast the move and the lack of minutes that his son is getting while out on loan, both in terms of likes and replies to others slamming the situation.
Callum Marshall in strange situation at West Brom
It really is an unfortunate and indeed strange situation that Marshall finds himself in, with the youngster certain to have been delighted with the move at the beginning of the year.
But it definitely hasn’t gone to plan, both for the striker and for West Ham, with those parties having expected plenty of minutes for the Northern Ireland international.
But Albion manager Corberan doesn’t see things that way, with Marshall representing his temporary club just three times so far.
And from those three matches – against Birmingham City, Cardiff City and Southampton – he has accumulated just 55 minutes in total.
It is a shame that the move hasn’t worked out, with the situation unlikely to change anytime soon as the Baggies continue their push for promotion back to the Premier League, with fellow loan attacker Mikey Johnston conversely getting plenty of minutes.

That said, Marshall’s father getting involved will not make the situation any better, with the matter better left to the player himself and the clubs involved.
In other West Brom news, Baggies star Grady Diangana recently sent a message to Darnell Furlong after an incident on the pitch.
