West Brom: Corberan must bring on Tom Fellows at HT v Huddersfield, he could be game-changer
Carlos Corberan simply must bring on Tom Fellows at half-time for West Brom against Huddersfield Town on Sunday (10 March).
The 20-year-old was dropped to the bench against the Terriers after starting in the 2-2 draw against QPR on 6 March.
Despite playing just 54 minutes at Loftus Road, it was a decent performance from the English winger as he registered an assist for his side.
The Baggies academy product has been in fine form after earning more minutes in the first team during this calendar year, having registered four goals and four assists since the turn of the year.
He was replaced in the starting lineup by Andreas Weimann as Corberan probably looked for his side to have more of a focal point going forward due to their injury situation in the striker department.
That meant Jed Wallace dropped into Fellows’ role on the right-hand side, but none of the Albion captain, Grady Diangana, Mikey Johnston or Weimann had a good first half at The John Smith’s Stadium.
The ball spent quite a bit of time in the Baggies’ half as Huddersfield took the lead on 30 minutes through Delano Burgzorg, with the hosts going in 1-0 up at the break.
The Albion attacking players really struggled to get on the ball and make things happen for their side as they lacked creativity in the final third.
That means a change could be likely at half-time to try and get them back into the game and Fellows could be the perfect man with his direct play and eye for a goal.

Perhaps he could come on for Diangana after he struggled to really gain a foothold in the game throughout the first half.
The DR Congo international had just 15 touches of the ball as he recorded a 78 per cent pass success rate and failed to complete his one dribble [SofaScore].
Fellows would certainly have more of an impact than that and could be the ideal man to turn around the 1-0 deficit after the break.
