West Brom: Keilan Quinn confirms The Hawthorns exit as image shows him signing contract
West Brom youngster Keilan Quinn has confirmed his move to rivals Aston Villa via an Instagram post of himself signing the new deal at Villa Park.
The Baggies Academy ace took to social media on 13 March to announce the move himself, with both his new and former clubs yet to confirm via their official websites.
Rumours surrounding this deal first emerged in The Athletic on transfer deadline day [1 February] as they reported a £1million fee had been agreed between the clubs with plans for a move next season.

This came shortly following a separate Instagram post from Quinn where he sent a message to the Albion, thanking them for helping him progress and develop his game over the past few years and confirming it was “time for the next chapter”.
In making the move to Aston Villa, not only has Keilan moved to one of Albion’s rivals, but he has also become the latest in a worrying trend for the West Brom academy which has shown no signs of slowing down.
The likes of Louie Barry, Tim Iroegbunam and Rico Richards have all made the move from The Hawthorns to Villa Park from the academy, while Morgan Rogers and Lino Sousa made the switch via Middlesbrough and Arsenal respectively.
The West Brom Academy was long-regarded as the best in the West Midlands, and one of the best in the country, before Aston Villa moved to poach some of Albion’s senior staff in 2019.
Manager Mark Harrison left after 13 years, while scout Steve Hopcroft also made the switch in a huge reshuffle for both clubs and since that time things have never quite been the same, with Quinn now the latest player to make the move.
