West Brom: Cedric Kipre and Grady Diangana react after Yann M’Vila debut v Bristol City
West Brom stars Erik Pieters, Cedric Kipre and Grady Diangana have all sent messages to Yann M’Vila.
The messages come after the midfielder made his Baggies debut after joining the club on a short-term deal last month.
M’Vila came off the bench in the 81st minute of the 2-0 win against Bristol City at The Hawthorns on Saturday (16 March).
Taking to social media after the win, M’Vila posted on Instagram: “Good to be back. Thanks for your support Baggies. Satisfying win at home. We keep on working hard.”
Among those sending messages to the recent Albion recruit were defenders Pieters and Kipre and attacker Diangana.
Yann M’Vila eased into West Brom life under Carlos Corberan
M’Vila is a player Carlos Corberan knows well, with the pair having worked together at Olympiacos in 2022.
The midfielder certainly boasts plenty of experience, but he has been eased into life at The Hawthorns, which is understandable given his lack of game time in recent months.
Having been named on the bench against QPR and Huddersfield, Corberan decided that the clash with Bristol City was the time to introduce the midfield man.
It was the perfect game, with the Albion having been 2-0 ahead thanks to goals from Tom Fellows and Jed Wallace either side of half-time.
M’Vila has been brought to The Hawthorns to provide more options in midfield for Corberan, and indeed to see how matches, and that is exactly what happened against Bristol City.

The three points on home soil means the Baggies are now unbeaten in their last six matches, and currently sit fifth in the Championship table.
