Grady Diangana axed in 2 changes – Predicted West Brom XI v Millwall

Carlos Corberan could be set to make some changes to his West Brom starting lineup for the Good Friday clash with Millwall this week.

The Baggies claimed a vital 2-0 win last time out over Bristol City thanks to goals from Tom Fellows and Jed Wallace, leaving them eight points clear of seventh-placed Hull City in the playoff positions.

But after an international break in which several stars have travelled across the globe, the boss may look at freshening things up with the earlier than usual kick-off on the cards.

Kyle Bartley to return for West Brom?

Corberan’s teams are built on having fantastic strength in defence, and Alex Palmer is set to keep his place in goal after a fantastic season so far.

In defence Darnell Furlong and Conor Townsend remain first-choice options at full-back and their performances have been strong, while Cedric Kipre has emerged as the first-choice central defender this season following his loan at Cardiff last season.

His partner has been more up in the air with Erik Pieters starting regularly more recently, but the international break has provided a chance for Kyle Bartley to get back to 100% fitness and he could come back into the side from the start.

In midfield Okay Yokuslu and Adam Mowatt should continue in the centre despite Yann M’Vila being available again after making his debut, with the more regular partnership blossoming this season.

Grady Diangana to miss out?

In recent weeks Mikey Johnston and Tom Fellows have made the wide positions their own with some fantastic performances, and they look sure to start once again.

Jed Wallace has been playing as the central striker in recent weeks with Josh Maja, Daryl Dike and Brandon Thomas-Asante all injured but he could return to a more familiar position just behind the striker for this game.

That’s because Andreas Weimann got himself on the scoresheet while on international duty and will be returning full of confidence for this game, while Maja could be fit enough for a spot on the bench.
