
West Brom: Carlos Corberan must keep tabs on Ben Cisse after international development
West Brom have proven over the years that they boast a superb youth setup, one which should continue to produce star players for many years to come.
And one is certainly making strides at this moment in time, with goalkeeper Ben Cisse shining for club and country.
The 18-year-old has made 16 appearances in all competitions this season in the Albion youth setup, with nine coming in the Under-18 Premier League, six in Premier League 2 and one in the FA Youth Cup.
This month saw the shot-stopper represent his nation, with Cisse having been called up to the England Under-19 squad.
In their most recent clash, the Young Lions narrowly lost 3-2 to the USA in Morocco on Sunday (24 March), with the match rounding off their international break.
And Cisse will be delighted to have made an appearance, with the goalkeeper appearing as a 60th-minute substitute, as per the official England Football website (24 March).

The minutes will boost his confidence, but so will the fact that he finds himself surrounded by players from Premier League giants.
Tottenham were well represented with five players in the England Under-19 squad, with Aston Villa and Brighton also having youngsters involved.
Chelsea also had a strong representation, with Baggies teen Cisse replacing Blues goalkeeper Max Merrick against the USA.

The Albion ace will now return to The Hawthorns following the international break as he looks to finish off a strong campaign, with first team manager Carlos Corberan surely keeping tabs on Cisse’s progress after his latest feat.
