West Brom Women: Siobhan Hodgetts-Still nominated for Premier Division award

West Brom Women’s manager Siobhan Hodgetts-Still has been nominated for the FA Women’s National League Premier Division Manager of the Month Award.

The nominees were announced via X, where the boss was nominated alongside Cheltenham manager Tom Davies, Newcastle’s Becky Langley and Hashtag United’s Jason Stephens.

Fans are able to vote for Hodgetts-Still to win the award via a document from the FA Women’s National League, with the public vote in place to decide the winner.

The manager’s nomination comes after she guided Albion from tenth to fifth in the league with four wins in March, keeping three clean sheets and holding Burnley to a draw in the Mother’s Day clash at The Hawthorns.

A 1-0 victory against Fylde last time out rounded off an excellent month for the team who finally put a strong run of form together following some frustrating displays overall this season, largely thanks to the manager’s guidance.

Hodgetts-Still has also been vocal in her praise of the players who have stepped up a level in recent weeks and was left stunned by Jess Reaville’s winning goal in the game against Fylde after it looked like they would be frustrated again.

New West Brom owner Shilen Patel has also been extremely vocal in his support for the Women’s team at The Hawthorns in what will likely be a huge boost to everybody involved, and Hodgetts-Still’s nomination will be a proud moment.

In other West Brom news, Alex Mowatt must begin to show his worth at The Hawthorns.
