Cardiff City fans all say same thing about Karlan Grant transfer as West Brom images emerge

Cardiff City fans seem desperate to see Karlan Grant return to South Wales this summer, with West Brom fans hoping the forward leaves The Hawthorns again.

Grant, 26, spent last season on loan with the Bluebirds, scoring six goals and supplying three assists in 41 appearances across all competitions. The Express & Star journalist Lewis Cox reported on 12 July that Grant is expected to go out on loan again this summer.

Since that spell in Wales, the attacker has returned to the Black Country and has been training with Carlos Corberan’s first-team squad ahead of the new Championship season, as per images on the Albion’s official X account.

Grant has failed to impress at The Hawthorns since Slaven Bilic pushed to sign him in a £15million deal from Huddersfield back in 2020. The forward, who Corberan sold while he was in charge of the Terriers, still has another two years left on the six-year contract he was handed by Luke Dowling.

Will Cardiff City re-sign Karlan Grant from West Brom?

Due to the money paid for him, the size of his contract and continual poor, half-hearted performances, West Brom fans have shown they are more than happy for Grant to leave again this summer.

However, a section of Cardiff fans on social media are more than happy for Erol Bulut to re-sign the Baggies flop, with one saying he “would be happy if he returned this season”.

West Brom fans are all too happy for this to happen:
