West Brom fans wowed by Shilen Patel as image emerges – ‘Absolute diamond’, ‘Brilliant’

West Brom fans have been raving about Shilen Patel after he was spotted at the Black Country Living Museum on Wednesday.

The 43-year-old posted a picture of himself via X on 24 July at the Black Country Living Museum, alongside the caption: “Lovely trip back in time in the Black Country”.

It is another example of Patel taking a keen interest in the club, and a small yet effective action which will only boost his already favourable popularity among West Brom supporters.

His tenure at The Hawthorns has been positive thus far, with the chairman dividing what was once a very unstable club. A return to the Premier League during his first season would have been incredible.

However, despite failure to reach the top flight of English football after coming up short in the play-offs, supporters will no doubt feel optimistic about the club’s future under Patel.

West Brom supporters rave about Shilen Patel

Getting involved with the local community and showing a keen interest in the club you have taken charge of seems such a simple action, yet it is something which previous owners at The Hawthorns have failed so miserably to do.

Patel spending his free time in and around the club’s local area demonstrates that he wants to do right by West Brom and is keen to embrace the culture in the Black Country.

And supporters have been very vocal about their delight over Patel’s recent trip to the Black Country Living Museum.

In other West Brom news, the club are in pole position to sign a midfielder loved by Frank Lampard.
