West Brom expect new Okay Yokuslu bid as personal terms agreed for Hawthorns exit

West Brom are expecting a new bid from Trabzonspor for Okay Yokuslu this summer, according to Ertan Suzgun.

The Turkish journalist reported this via Play Spor on 25 July and stated that despite the clubs having already reached an agreement, negotiations are still ongoing.

Despite the ongoing talks around his future, Yokuslu started pre-season training with West Brom following his extended break after returning from Euro 2024.

West Brom need to end Okay Yokuslu saga sooner rather than later

After what seems like a lifetime, it now finally feels as if the Yokuslu transfer saga is finally coming to an end.

The Turkey international has been consistently linked with a move away from the club since the opening of the summer window.

Clubs such as Hull City [Hull Live, 15 July] and Besiktas have both thrown their hat in the ring to try and acquire the 30-year-old’s services.

Evidently, only Trabzonspor are serious right now with terms already agreed with the ex-Celta Vigo ace.

And, although nothing is set in stone just yet, it finally feels like a conclusion is drawing closer and the Baggies can move on.

The money raised from a deal will no doubt help with the club’s summer recruitment and could perhaps even be the framework for one or two arrivals.

All in all, although deals can be agreed, the midfielder will no doubt have the final say on where his future lies.
