Dan Ashworth ready to hire ex-West Brom coach at Manchester United

Manchester United Sporting Director Dan Ashworth is ready to hire ex-West Brom coach Michael Appleton, according to The Sun.

The paper reported via its print edition on Sunday (July 28, page 55) that 48-year-old Appleton is expected to join the transfer team focusing on loans.

Ashworth plans to appoint Appleton replacing current head Les Parry.

Appleton and Ashworth have a long-standing relationship from their time at West Brom, making this move even more likely.

Michael Appleton will bring plenty of experience to Manchester United

Appleton has a lot of experience from his time as both a player and a coach. He started his career at United, so he knows the club well. Even after his playing career was cut short by injury, he stayed in football and became a respected coach.

Appleton has managed clubs like Portsmouth, Blackpool, and Oxford United, where he helped the team get promoted. He also coached at West Brom and Leicester City, gaining valuable skills and experience.

Working with Ashworth again, like he did at West Brom, will be good for United, especially when it comes to player loans and young talent – something Appleton knows well.

Additionally, their strong bond and past success together make this a promising partnership.

Appleton also knows the ins and outs of English football and has strong connections in the sport, making him a great fit for this role.

With his experience and knowledge, Appleton is likely to help Manchester United in securing some top talent.
