Aston Villa fans all say the same thing as West Brom sign Lewis Dobbin on loan
Aston Villa fans have reacted to Lewis Dobbin’s loan move to West Brom, having recently signed the forward from Everton.
Dobbin was unveiled as Albion’s latest loan signing on Tuesday, just weeks after the 21-year-old completed a £10m move to Villa Park from the Toffees.
Villa supporters were quick to take to social media to air a sarcastic view on finally seeing a player move to The Hawthorns from their club, rather than the other way round.
West Brom have lost a host of young players in the past few years to the Villans including Tim Iroegbunam, who this summer moved to Goodison Park.
Former Albion academy players Morgan Rogers and Lino Sousa have ended up with Aston Villa, whilst Keilan Quinn, Finn Azaz, Finley Thorndike, Jamal Jimoh, Ricoh Richards, Louie Barry, Triston Rowe, Luka Lynch and Chisom Afoka have all taken the same route – either directly or indirectly [BirminghamLive, 12 March].
