Carlos Corberan blown away by West Brom announcement this week
West Brom manager Carlos Corberan described West Brom supporters as “unbelievable” after an announcement was made on Thursday.
It was confirmed that the Baggies have sold over 20,000 season tickets for 2024/25 (15 August) with supporters turning out in their droves to hopefully cheer on another promotion push.
Now, in a message sent via the club’s website (16 August), Carlos Corberan has expressed how pumped up he is ahead of the club’s return to The Hawthorns when the Baggies host Leeds United on Saturday (17 August).
“Like I always say, West Bromwich Albion Football Club never stops growing, it’s unbelievable,” he said.
“This can only make you feel proud, not just me, but for everyone who works for the club. We know it gives you a level of responsibility and determination to compensate them for what they are giving to you. This is only ever a positive for us.”
West Brom take the next step
Josh Maja’s hat-trick against Queens Park Rangers in West Brom’s season opener is reason enough to get excited about the next few weeks. From the manager to the squad to the fanbase, things feel like they’re clicking into place for Albion right now. After a great start in the league, the Baggies will hope to make a big statement when they welcome Leeds in an early kick-off on Saturday.
