West Brom chairman Shilen Patel has been blown away by the supporters as the club announced 20,000 season ticket sales this season.
The Baggies confirmed the news on their official X account [15 August] as the Albion fan base continues their unwavering support of their team.
West Brom reported their best first-day season ticket sales in over a decade in May [Joe Chapman] and Patel thanked the fans for their support on X [15 August] as sales surpassed the 20k mark for the 2024/25 season.
He said: “We are so grateful for the opportunity to play in front of 20k+ passionate fans every home match this season. You make The Hawthorns what it is!”

Carlos Corberan has done a brilliant job at The Hawthorns and the fan base are fully invested in the Spaniard, who saw his side suffer defeat in the Championship play-off semi-finals to Southampton last season.

West Brom will need the supporters to lift the team throughout a gruelling schedule in the second tier and will face a tough test when the side welcome Leeds United to The Hawthorns on Saturday [August 17].
Albion have already surpassed their season ticket holders this year, last season saw over 18,000 season ticket holders throughout the home fixtures, but they now boast over 2,000 more as the Baggies continue as one of the most-watched sides in the Championship.
Corberan has admitted this year will be the most difficult challenge of his managerial career [Birmingham Live] but his side is in good stead to finish in the play-off spots again this season [Opta Analyst] and will be able to use their experience last term to help guide the team towards the top end of the Championship.
