Southampton ready £10m transfer bid for West Brom star Tom Fellows

Southampton are interested in West Brom forward Tom Fellows, according to Sami Mokbel.

The Daily Mail journalist reported via X (27 August) that the Saints are considering a £10million offer for the 21-year-old.

Fellows has also been subject to interest from Crystal Palace (via Chris Lepkowski, 4 August).

Southampton to launch £10million bid for West Brom forward Tom Fellows?

Carlos Corberan will not want to lose Fellows before the transfer deadline.

Fellows enjoyed a breakthrough campaign during the 2023/24 season, playing 33 times in the Championship, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

And he has continued that form into this season, thus far proving to be a key player at The Hawthorns. Fellows has started all three Championship matches this season, providing three assists with the Baggies making an unbeaten start in the league.

Therefore, Corberan will be keen to keep hold of Fellows as he looks to make a promotion push with West Brom.

An offer of £10million for an academy product could prove tempting for the club, and Fellows himself might be interested in a Premier League switch.

However, if the 21-year-old turns down any interest and sticks with the Baggies, he could help his boyhood club to return to the Premier League next season, which would no doubt mean much more to the forward.

In other West Brom news, the club are to tempt Preston North End with a brand-new offer for Will Keane.
