Everton could now appoint Carlos Corberan with Sean Dyche sack on cards

West Brom manager Carlos Corberan could be among the options to replace Sean Dyche at Everton soon, according to The Express.

After a shocking 3-2 loss for the Toffees against Bournemouth on 31 August, the newspaper reported via their website that Dyche has been left in a “sticky situation.”

With four potential options shared, the Spaniard was included alongside the likes of Graham Potter.

West Brom need to do everything in their power to keep Carlos Corberan

After already managing to prevent the Spaniard from leaving The Hawthorns during the summer transfer window, the Baggies could find themselves fending off Premier League teams for their manager once again.

Corberan was key to the Baggies’ form last season and was one of the main reasons that the club found themselves in the playoff spots.

The 2024/25 season will be no different with West Brom hoping to once again challenge for promotion to the Premier League after a brilliant start.

And, with the recent arrivals of Mikey Johnston and Everton defender Mason Holgate [Pete O’Rourke, 31 August], it feels as if the club are on the right track to do so.

This could be reactionary due to Everton throwing away their two-goal lead to Bournemouth but, it feels as if it’s only a matter of time until a top-flight club comes sniffing around the Spaniard to take the reigns.
