West Brom fans wowed after what Reyes Cleary did v Birmingham – ‘Hang it in the Louvre’
West Brom fans were more than happy with Reyes Cleary as he starred for Walsall in their win against Birmingham City on 3 September.
Cleary, currently on loan with the Saddlers, scored the winning penalty in the group stages of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy at St Andrews after a 1-1 draw.
After scoring that penalty to take an extra point from Birmingham, Cleary then did the ‘Boing, Boing’ celebration in front of the home crowd.

The 20-year-old became an overnight hero at The Hawthorns with his celebration but he didn’t start the game against Birmingham.
When he did enter the pitch, the attacker put in a solid performance and showed up for his teammates.
One Baggies fan stated “Reyes Cleary the man, BOING BOING” which showed their delight whilst another said “Reyes Cleary knocking out the Blues. Hang it in the Louvre.”
Although the youngster isn’t quite ready for Carlos Corberan’s first team yet, should he manage to get a good run of form going this season, he could find his way into the Spaniard’s squad next term.
The elation didn’t stop there either with another Baggies fan saying “Reyes Cleary, you beauty” and, lastly, perhaps one of the best reactions of the lot was from this fan who claimed that Cleary needed a “full lifetime £350,000 a week contract” after what he did against the Blues.
It’s evident that Cleary knows exactly what being a West Brom player is about and, should he have a solid season this term, Corberan might even include him within his first-team squad next season.
Only time will tell what the future has in store for the on-loan Baggies gem but if he keeps up this West Brom propaganda and has the talent to back it up, he can’t go too far wrong.
