Uros Racic injury claim shared after West Brom debut v Swansea
West Brom defender Uros Racic may take a month or two to adapt before he can be considered to play the full 90 minutes week in and week out, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert assessed the 26-year-old’s fitness record last season and does not see any reason for him to struggle to adapt to life in England.
The Baggies secured the signing of the Serbian centre-back this summer on a season-long loan.
Reacting to his arrival, injury expert Dr Brar – who is a physical therapy specialist and sports scientist – has told West Brom News:
“He did have an injury last season that kept him out for a month.
“However, his injury history looks to be pretty good overall so one injury doesn’t create that much alarm.
“In terms of game minutes and adapting to a new league, that’s certainly something that has to be considered and planned for.
“The key thing will be his fitness metrics and habits.
“It might take a month or two for him to be ready to play 90 minutes every game.“
Uros Racic will be eyeing regular game time at West Brom
The 26-year-old made his Baggies debut in the 1-0 victory against Swansea on 31 August but played just 24 minutes.
Last season, the Serbian made 22 league appearances but only eight of them were starts so he’d be looking for more game time under Carlos Corberan.

Hopefully, he can be a quality addition to this side and can help solidify their defence en route to promotion.
In other West Brom news, the Baggies are likely to be on high alert as they can seal a new free agent transfer this month.
