Swansea City manager Luke Williams has used three words to describe Carlos Corberan after his side lost 1-0 to West Brom at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies recorded their third win in four Championship matches against Swansea courtesy of a first-half stoppage-time goal from Jayson Molumby.
As reported by the Express & Star [9 September], Williams faced Corberan for the first time in his managerial career on 31 August and used three words to describe his Championship counterpart.
He said: “[Corberan is] a brilliant obsessive.”

Corberan is catching the eye of supporters and pundits alike, as his West Brom side entered the international break with an undefeated start to the 2024/25 campaign.
The 41-year-old is becoming the subject of envious rivals supporters with Leeds United fans calling for him to return to Elland Road after the 0-0 earlier this season and even from Premier League side Everton whose supporters have identified Corberan as the ideal replacement for Sean Dyche.
After a summer of intense speculation regarding his future, Corberan has remained at The Hawthorns to the delight of the West Brom faithful, his side looks like genuine promotion contenders this season.
The Baggies are now one of the favourites for automatic promotion alongside Leeds [The Opta Analyst] after the match against Swansea and, they will need to continue this form after the international break to keep pace with their promotion rivals.
It is a welcome sight for West Brom to see their boss gain such glowing praise from his peers this season, Corberan has rewarded the Baggies’ faith in him with an excellent head start for the automatic promotion, and his side could even mount a challenge for the Championship title this season.
Only time will tell.
