West Brom fans ‘adore’ Daryl Dike as image emerges from The Hawthorns v Plymouth

West Brom fans have wished Daryl Dike the best in his injury recovery after he was spotted on the sidelines against Plymouth Argyle.

The Baggies continued their excellent start to the new season with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Wayne Rooney’s side on Saturday 21 September.

Josh Maja was on the scoresheet once again with fellow striker Dike clapping him and his teammates off at full time at The Hawthorns.

The American international has struggled with injuries since coming through the doors in the West Midlands but that hasn’t stopped him from cheering on his side.

This saw the 24-year-old spotted on the touchline celebrating with his Baggies teammates as they left the pitch after a win against the Pilgrims.

Albion fan Claire Wheeler, who is the daughter of Hawthorns legend Jeff Astle, said: “I absolutely adore this guy. Wishing you all the luck in the world coming back from injury. You got this Daryl.”

This sentiment was echoed by other supporters with another fan saying: “He’s absolutely lovely. A real diamond.”

It is clear to see that the striker is well-loved at The Hawthorns despite only ever being fit enough to make 32 appearances for the club [FotMob].

There is a lot to like about the former Barnsley star and supporters will be hopeful that he can return from injury and hit the ground running.
