David Prutton predicts Sheffield Wednesday v West Brom scoreline for Sky Sports
David Prutton has predicted West Brom will continue their unbeaten start to the season with a win against Sheffield Wednesday.
The Baggies travel to Hillsborough on Saturday (28 September) hoping to extend their unbeaten start after five wins and one draw in their opening six Championship fixtures.
Carlos Corberan’s side suffered a 3-0 loss in this corresponding fixture in April but Prutton, when predicting the result on Sky Sports’ EFL Essential Podcast [26 September, 13m 32s], said he is not expecting a repeat result this time out as he predicted a 2-1 away win.
West Brom to continue unbeaten start against Sheffield Wednesday
The Baggies should encounter no problems this weekend as they hopefully claim all three points against a 22nd-placed Sheffield Wednesday side.
Danny Rohl could have a trick up his sleeve to stop the free-scoring Josh Maja, but West Brom are in too good form at the start of the season to suffer a potential banana skin at Hillsborough.
Corberan’s side are the joint-third top-scoring team in the Championship and boast the best defensive record, with only two goals conceded in six matches.

Albion are heading into the Championship clash with no fresh injury concerns, with Grady Diangana positioned to return to challenge for a starting berth after two cameo appearances against Portsmouth and Plymouth Argyle.
This fixture is a classic tie between a top-of-the-table side and one struggling at the bottom end of the table, and only a miracle could stop the Baggies leaving Yorkshire empty-handed.
Corberan has built a serious title-contending side at The Hawthorns and is ignoring links from Premier League sides to direct his full attention on the quest to return to the English top flight at the end of the season.
