Everton new manager odds: West Brom boss Carlos Corberan among leading contenders
Carlos Corberan has been tipped to leave West Brom for Everton this season, according to the latest bookmaker odds.
The Albion boss has been priced at 7/1 by Sportscasting with pressure building on Sean Dyche at Goodison Park after a winless start to the Premier League season.
Gareth Southgate is currently the favourite at 3/1 for the Everton job after stepping down as England boss following the Euro 2024 final defeat to Spain.
Graham Potter follows Southgate at 7/2 with David Moyes at 6/1 for a Goodison Park return before Corberan. With this weekend’s opposition manager, Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl stands at 12/1 whereas Leeds United’s Daniel Farke is further down the odds at 25/1.
Will Carlos Corberan leave West Brom for Everton?
After an incredible start to the Championship season with five wins and one draw from the opening six matches, one link that refuses to go away is Corberan departing The Hawthorns for Merseyside [Chris Lepkowski].
While the two sides are enjoying mixed fortunes, the impending arrival of new owners at Goodison Park paired with, the move to the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium and suddenly the Everton job is an extremely attractive proposition.
At the moment, the clubs are on track to switch positions with West Brom going up to the Premier League and Everton suffering relegation to the Championship so at best, a move to Merseyside may not be the best move for Corberan and could even constitute a sideways step.

The Baggies are flying high in the Championship and a move to Everton to rectify the doom and gloom atmosphere surrounding Goodison Park is a tall task for any manager, the risk certainly outweighs the rewards should he opt to leave the West Midlands.
Luckily for West Brom, other managers have emerged as more serious candidates for the role should it become available, Dyche still has time to turn things around for Everton and help put the rumors of Corberan in the Goodison Park dugout to bed once and for all.
