Carlos Corberan pays tribute as West Brom fan dies after Sheffield Wednesday game
Carlos Corberan has sent his thoughts to the family of the West Brom supporter who passed away at Sheffield Wednesday on September 28.
West Brom confirmed the sad news in a statement after the game at Hillsborough after a medical emergency was declared.
Coberan has paid tribute to the supporter, with plenty of messages being delivered after the tragic news.
He wrote on X: “Unfortunately we received the worst news.
“Our supporter passed away after today’s game. All my thoughts are with his family in this very sad moment. R.I.P.”
Some things are more important than football, and it is devastating to learn of the supporters’ passing when they were watching the team they love.
Tributes will continue in the days to come with Middlesbrough coming to The Hawthorns on 1 October where West Brom fans will come together to pay their own.
