West Brom fans were annoyed by sections of the home crowd booing at full-time on Saturday after the goalless draw with Millwall at The Hawthorns.

Carlos Corberan's men failed to win for a third consecutive game with Josh Maja's first-half chance being the only real opportunity for Albion to score while Alex Palmer was arguably the busiest of the two goalkeepers.

Despite boasting 79.5 per cent possession, Millwall (4) finished the match with more shots on target than the hosts (3), who've only scored twice at The Hawthorns all season.

It was a frustrating 90 minutes for Baggies fans, especially after seeing their side topping the Championship table just over a week ago before back-to-back losses against Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough.

And that frustration spilt over for some at full-time with boos ringing out from sections of the support.

Those who booed the team after the draw have been blasted on X, with one saying that the reaction was "madness".

Despite failing to beat Millwall, West Brom remain fourth in the Championship standings.

After the international break, the Albion take on Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium on 19 October before travelling to Blackburn on 23 October.
