Wrexham fans buzzing at what ex-West Brom ace Mo Faal has done – ‘Worth the wait’
Fans have taken great pride on social media in former West Brom man Mo Faal, after the forward scored a superb goal for Wrexham against Wolves Under-21s.
Faal – whose last goal came against Fleetwood Town in an Albion shirt in the Carabao Cup in August – signed for Wrexham late in the transfer window and produced an immense acrobatic kick [@wrexhameire on X] against his former rivals.
The young Gambian’s sublime effort was the third and final goal in a resounding 3-0 win at the StoK Cae Ras in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.

Supporters have taken to X to show their congratulations to the 21-year-old, who signed a three-year deal in North Wales in search of game time with the ambitious Red Dragons.
The victory for Wrexham ensures Faal’s side are through to the knockout stages of the competition, with many passing on their dues to the forward.
“Delighted for Mo,” one Wrexham supporters posted on X after the game, while another said he was “buzzing” for Faal.
Another added the attacker’s first goal for the club was “worth the wait”.
Faal will be hoping to add to his maiden Wrexham strike when the Welsh club return to action against Rotherham United in League One on 19 October.
