Carlos Corberan sends new message to West Brom fans after draw v Blackburn Rovers
Carlos Corberan has sent a new message to the “amazing” West Brom supporters after Albion’s draw with Blackburn Rovers.
The Baggies stretched their winless run in the Championship to five matches with a 0-0 draw at Ewood Park on Wednesday (23 October) as both sides struggled to fashion any real chances in front of goal.
Although the draw sees Albion slip six points adrift of table toppers Sunderland after 11 matches, Albion boss Corberan has been quick to praise the travelling fans in his immediate reaction.
Writing on X on Thursday (24 October) he said: “Not always we achieve the results we want but ALWAYS we receive your amazing support. Thanks WBA.”

West Brom supporters may be slightly concerned by their side’s winless run over the last few weeks, but while Corberan is at the helm at The Hawthorns, there will be a belief that the Spaniard and the Baggies will find a way to turn things around.
Although the Albion boss has confused pundits and supporters alike with one or two of his in-game decisions already this term, few would argue that the Baggies would be any higher up the table with any other manager in charge.
Corberan seems to know how to get the best out of this playing squad. While his side hasn’t been anywhere near its best over the last month or so, they are managing to find a way to continue to pick up points.
In the race for promotion to the Premier League, every point could count. Who knows, that draw against Blackburn at Ewood Park could be the difference between finishing inside the playoffs and missing out on the top six.
Hopefully, the Baggies will get back to winning ways when they welcome Cardiff City to The Hawthorns on Saturday (26 October).
