Carlos Corberan shows true class with what he did at West Brom press conference today
Carlos Corberan has shown his class after giving gifts to his staff members to celebrate two years as West Brom manager.
The Spaniard has reached two years in charge at The Hawthorns after coming in to replace Steve Bruce with the Baggies sitting 23rd in the Championship at this stage in 2022.
Two years later, Albion are fourth and genuine promotion contenders, with the manager being a shining light both on and off the pitch throughout that time.
To celebrate this anniversary at Friday’s pre-Cardiff City press conference, Express & Star journalist Lewis Cox shared via X [25 October] that Corberan gifted the club’s staff two bottles of beer and a thank you letter for their work during his time in the Midlands.

It won’t come as a surprise to any supporter of the Baggies that the Spaniard has been humble enough to provide gifts to club staff.
It is a small gesture of his gratitude but it is these sorts of things which just go to show the positive atmosphere and culture that the manager is creating.
There was plenty of negativity around the club after relegation from the Premier League, combined with the slow fall in standards under various managers.
Bruce came in and things just took a nosedive, meaning a big change was needed. Corberan is arguably the best appointment that could have been made.
The transformation of Albion has been superb and this campaign has seen the club rise towards the top end of the Championship table once again.
Although form in recent weeks hasn’t been ideal given the start that had been made, frustration is taking over somewhat at The Hawthorns.
Despite this, Corberan is still humble and level-headed enough to share these gifts and celebrate his time at the club.
